World record of candidates for the Presidency
So far it had created surprise that the number of candidates for the presidency had grown so much that it was approaching 30. Now, the portal Las 2 Orillas made a total compilation of the candidates already declared, plus the possible ones and those that sound, and the result is double. According to that exercise, there are 59 Colombians who, publicly or discreetly, have the Casa de Nariño in their hearts. Of those 29 are by signatures and the other 30 by the traditional parties. There are some names such as Germán Vargas and Néstor Humberto Martínez, who although they have let it be known that they do not aspire, they are still on the radar of some sectors and that is why Las 2 Orillas included them in the list. In any case, if one more appears, Colombia with 60 pre-candidates would have a world record.
