Bueno, lo hicimos con la ayuda de nuestros amigos en Ten Sixtyfive Overdrive, Skyport Radio hizo la primera transmisión de RF completa desde finales de 1982, a 106,5 MHz en el noroeste de Inglaterra, Mark King presentó varias horas de música antigua y algo nueva para conmemorar nuestra primera transmisión realizada el 25 de diciembre de 1971, que fue a 7405 kHz en la banda de 41 metros. Nuestra transmisión de aniversario fue en vivo de 1600 a 2100 GMT en 106.5 MHz con una potencia de 30W que cubría Liverpool, Chester, Crewe y probablemente más lejos.  De 1971 a 1982, Skyport Radio realizó emisiones casi semanales en las bandas de 48 y 41 metros con muchos miles de oyentes en toda Europa.  Estamos siguiendo esto con más transmisiones con nuestros nuevos djs; Lord Dialup y Winkel. Well we made it with the help of our friends at Ten Sixtyfive Overdrive, Skyport Radio made the first full RF broadcast since the end of 1982, on 106.5MHz in the North West of England, Mark King presented several hours of old and some new music to commemorate our first broadcast made on 25th December 1971 which was on 7405KHz in the 41 metre band. Our anniversary broadcast was live from 1600-2100 GMT on 106.5MHz with a power of 30W covering Liverpool, Chester, Crewe and probably further afield.  From 1971-1982 Skyport Radio carried on almost weekly broadcasts on the 48 and 41 metre bands with then many thousands of listeners across Europe.  We are following this up with further transmissions with our new DJ's; Lord Dialup and Winkel. Lord Dialup plays a mixture of his own electronic compositions and experimental electronic music, Winkel will play the latest Techno from the new centre of techno music Medellín, which has hosted many Techno festivals in the past year and has many more

Friday 3rd December: Transmitter engineer Alan Beech reports: A big thank you from everyone here at Radio Caroline to all those who have sent in reception reports over the past week via our website and other means for our improved 648 AM service. To say that we have been rather overwhelmed and inundated would be an understatement! With just a few exceptions all feedback is that we have a healthy increase in signal and audibility. That was the main aim of our power increase – to improve the signal in our primary coverage areas of Essex, Suffolk, parts of Norfolk and Kent. We wished to overcome the increasing amount of interference caused by power lines and overhead telephone lines whilst on the move and the high number of household devices that cause interference within the home. Old medium wave transmitter Radio 10 Gold to Radio Caroline : The former English sea transmitter Radio Caroline has been broadcasting since last week with more power on the medium wave. For this, the station has purchased a 'new' station and there is a Dutch touch to it: it is the old medium-wave transmitter that Radio 10 Gold used until 2013. Before Radio 10 acquired a national FM lot in 2013, the station broadcast as Radio 10 Gold at 828 kHz from Heinenoord under Rotterdam. A 20 kW medium wave transmitter (Harris DX25) was used for this. Oude middengolfzender Radio 10 Gold naar Radio Caroline : De voormalige Engelse zeezender Radio Caroline zendt sinds afgelopen week uit met meer vermogen op de middengolf. Hiervoor heeft het station een ‘nieuwe’ zender aangeschaft en daar hangt een Nederlands tintje aan: het is de oude middengolfzender die Radio 10 Gold tot en met 2013 gebruikte. Voordat Radio 10 in 2013 een landelijk FM-kavel bemachtigde, zond het station als Radio 10 Gold uit op 828 kHz vanuit Heinenoord onder Rotterdam . Hiervoor werd een 20 kW sterke middengolfzender (Harris DX25) gebruikt. Deze zender is, na jaren stof te hebben staan happen in een opslag, overgenomen door Caroline en naar Engeland verscheept. Inmiddels is de nieuwe zender operationeel voor Caroline en zendt het radiostation met meer vermogen uit. Met welk vermogen er uit wordt gezonden wil het radiostation niet zeggen, maar geruchten gaan dat het om 4 kW gaat. Hierdoor is de ontvangst ook in Nederland flink verbeterd. Caroline kree
