Fishing vessel Z.592 Hosanna discovered
A mysterious disappearance has finally been solved after 46 years: the fishing vessel Z.592 Hosanna has been officially discovered at the bottom of the English Channel. The vessel had already been located four years ago, but until now it was not certain that it was indeed the missing fishing vessel. For the relatives of the Belgian-Dutch crew, there is now finally complete certainty.
In early 1980, the vessel ‘Hosanna’ (Z592) disappeared. No trace of the vessel or its crew members was ever found. The Hosanna, captained by Germain Ackx, served in the late 1970s as the supply vessel for the broadcasting ship MV Mi Amigo, amongst other roles.
